Dino Hunters evolution and ranks — F to Ultra ladder with Ultra Rank costs

The F to SSS ladder

The companion rank ladder spans nine confirmed tiers:

F -> E -> D -> C -> B -> A -> S -> SS -> SSS

Every captured dinosaur can advance through the full ladder via EXP gain and Evolution chamber consumption. Each rank jump is a discrete stat multiplier; the rank index also drives the Boss Readiness Score in the Ultra Rank and Boss Readiness calculator.

Ultra Rank — the Raptor Update gate

The 2026-07-24 Raptor Update added Ultra Rank as the new top tier. Only SSS-eligible dinosaurs can upgrade. The verified cost vector is:

The cost is identical for every Ultra-eligible dinosaur. The Raptor Nest Raid is the only documented source of DNA Core, so the gate is effectively RNG-locked behind Lottery Tickets.

Linear +50 weapon / hunter upgrade curve

Early-game weapon and hunter upgrades follow a linear cost curve:

Cost(N) = Base + (N - 1) * 50

For example: Level 1 = 100 Coins, Level 5 = 300 Coins, Level 25 = 1,300 Coins (cumulative 17,500 Coins). Late-game upgrade curves deviate from this linear baseline — no closed-form late-tier equation is published. Treat 17,000,000 Coin Ultra Rank cost as evidence that an exponential step kicks in well above the early-game tiers.

Rebirth / prestige — not implemented

There is no published rebirth or prestige system for Dino Hunters. The closest analogue is the Ultra Rank flat-cost consumption. Third-party sources that mention “Rebirth” for Dino Hunters are referring to other games in the same genre cohort.

Combat roles

Rank interacts with role taxonomy. Verified roles:

• Tank — Triceratops (companion form), Ankylosaurus, Goldspike Cub → Rockspike Anklo.
• DPS — Velociraptor, Dilophosaurus, Stripelet Raptor → Strideraptor, Emberling chain.
• Support — Parasaurolophus, Pachycephalosaurus.
