The canonical cycle

  1. Hunt — Spawn in a prehistoric biome (Temperate Forest → Jurassic Plains → Jurassic Rift → Raptor Nest) and pick a target.
  2. Defeat — Engage with a ranged weapon; reduce the dinosaur’s HP toward zero.
  3. Capture — Fire a capsule; the live capture percentage decides whether the dinosaur accepts it.
  4. Equip — Place the new companion in your team. Auto-equip the strongest when you have options.
  5. Upgrade — Level the dinosaur through combat; spend Dino Essence at the Evolution chamber.
  6. Evolve — Promote F → E → D → C → B → A → S → SS → SSS, then optionally to Ultra Rank after the Raptor Update.
  7. Raid — Enter the Raptor Nest Raid for DNA Core + Crimson Flame Scale + 9 new species.
  8. Loop back — Bring your upgraded squad into the next biome.

The intertwined subsystems

Subsystem Driven by Feeds
Capture Capsule tier, target HP, race bonus Roster depth
Rank EXP, Evolution chamber Combat power
Combat power Team rank, weapon DPS, race DMG bonus Boss readiness
Raid Lottery Tickets, raid cooldown DNA Core + CFS
Ultra Rank 17M Coins + DNA Core + CFS + 3 SSS dinos Top-tier evolution

Every system touches the others. Optimizing one without the others is the most common late-game mistake — see Ultra Rank and Boss Readiness for the planner.

Frequently asked questions

What is the core gameplay loop?

Hunt -> defeat -> capture -> equip -> upgrade -> evolve -> unlock harder content -> repeat. Each cycle unlocks a tougher zone, which loops back to step 1.

How long does one full cycle take?

A single capture attempt takes seconds. A full rank-up cycle (F -> SSS) takes hours of focused farming; Ultra Rank takes weeks because the multi-resource gate is RNG-locked behind Raptor Nest Raid Lottery Tickets.

Do systems overlap?

Yes. Captures feed the rank ladder, ranks feed Boss Readiness, Boss Readiness unlocks the next zone, the next zone unlocks harder captures. The systems are deliberately intertwined.
